Intelligence that does more with less.

Building AI that works within real constraints is one of the defining technical problems of this decade.

Most frontier models are built assuming unlimited compute, unlimited memory, unlimited power. The real world doesn't work that way. Healthcare, agriculture, finance, manufacturing, and public services need intelligence that runs within the budgets they actually have.

We started Parama AI to build that intelligence.

Our focus is high-efficiency small language models and cognitive architectures – systems that plan, remember, and use tools to work through problems, not just respond to them. Alongside our general-purpose models, we build industry-specific SLMs tuned for the constraints and language of individual sectors. Built to think in India's languages from the ground up, not translated into them.

We are a research lab first. Everything we build is in service of one goal: intelligence efficient enough, reliable enough, and capable enough to run inside the industries that keep the world moving.

We approach efficiency and capability together, not as a trade-off but as one problem. A model that is powerful but unusable at scale has not solved anything.

Parama AI is an Indian-origin company, built by people who understand firsthand how constrained and complex real-world problems are – and who are building for those problems everywhere.

Efficient intelligence isn't a compromise. It's the only kind that actually reaches the people who need it.
